It is from the appellation of Pessac-Léognan, near the town of Martillac, and is jointly owned by Count Stephan von Neipperg and Didier Miqueu.

It is situated on gravelly uplands and the subsoil, which offers great variety, is made up of marine sediments in the form of shelf sand with an admixture of clay.

The vineyards cover 12,3 hectares for red wine and 1,3 hectares for white wine.

Varieties planted: 50 % Merlot, 48 % CS, 2 % CF (white: 65 % Sauvignon, 35 % Sémillon).

Average age of heads: 20 years

Harvesting: by hand

Yield: 55 hl/ha

Fermentation: in wooden and concrete vats for 23 days

Ageing: in new oak barrels (45 %) on fine lees for 12 months.
