In 1989 it was bought by Fabienne and Philippe Pairault, husband and wife managers from Paris (they also bought Château Corconnac in the Haut-Médoc appellation). Since then, it has grown from 4.5 hectares to 12.5 hectares of vines. Now their daughter Éléonore Pairault (who studied aerospace law) has joined them and specialises in the deployment of drones in the vineyards.

Soil: Beychevelle plateau - gravel and clay

Ageing: 12-14 months in French oak barrels, a third of which are new

Production: 80,000 bottles
