C68 - Château Fleur Cardinale 2020 ... 0,75 l Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classé
Detailní popis produktu
It is located in the eastern part of Saint-Emilion and adjacent to Château Valandraud (Premier Grand Cru Classé B). The cadastral map of 1819 shows that there were vineyards and buildings on the site known as 'Thibeaud', where the present winery is located. The Château was then called 'Clos Bel-Air'. Its current name is Château Fleur Cardinale to Jean-Louis Obissier, who bought Clos Bel-Air in 1975. It is said that the Obissier family owned racehorses named Fleur and Cardinale at that time. After the death of the racehorses, Mr Obissier changed the name of the estate to Château Fleur Cardinale.
After 27 years of producing porcelain in Limoges, Dominique Decoster decided to sell all his holdings in 2000. In May 2001, Dominique and his wife Florence decided to buy Château Fleur Cardinale from the Asséo family, which had owned it since 1982. They decided to settle here permanently with their three children, Ludovic, Matthew and Lucie. Ludovic has been the head of the entire winery since 2015 and his wife Caroline is in charge of sales and marketing. She has worked at Château Fleur Cardinale since 2012.
